V. Seenu Reddy, MD, MBA, FACS, FACC

Dr. Reddy is a native of Alabama. He graduated from Amherst College with magna cum laude honors in Neuroscience. He earned his Medical Doctorate from The University of Alabama School of Medicine with Clinical Honors. He then served his internship and completed a residency in General Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. While there, he was Chair of the Housestaff Council and served on the Medical Center Medical Board as well as the Medical Center Alumni Boards. He then went on to receive his training in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at Emory University Medical Center in Atlanta, GA. While there, he served on the ACGME Board of Directors. He completed an additional fellowship in advanced endovascular surgery in the Vascular Surgery Division at Emory University. In addition, Dr. Reddy holds an MBA with an emphasis on health care. He received this degree with Honors from The Owen School of Management at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Reddy then went on to join the faculty of The University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio for six years. While there, he was Director of Thoracic Aortic Surgery, Head of Cardiac Surgery at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Medical Center and the Associate Residency Program Director. He served on multiple national committees in his specialty and has authored more than a dozen book chapters and 30 clinical and basic science papers in the surgical literature. He is Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery and General Surgery. He joined the Tristar Cardiovascular Surgery practice at Centennial Medical Center in 2011. He is married and has two children.
