Jason Ng, MD
Jason Ng, MD, is a clinical assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism with the University of Pittsburgh Department of Medicine. Dr. Ng studied medicine at the West Virginia University School of Medicine, and went on to complete his residency with the University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Ng's research interests include improvement of delivery of care and multidisciplinary models in diabetes mellitus management. He also focuses on understanding pathophysiology underlying insulin resistance in skeletal muscle and adipose tissue. His clinical interests include improvement of glucose control in diabetes mellitus, as well as improvement of patient outcomes in their confidence in treatment of diabetes mellitus.
