Marisa Moreta, DO

Marisa Moreta, DO, is currently a PGY-4 resident in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Moreta earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She then earned her medical degree from the Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, New Jersey. Dr. Moreta’s clinical interests are in spasticity management, musculoskeletal procedures and prosthetics, and transitional clinical her. From a research perspective, Dr. Moreta has interests in the use of the Heckmatt Scale with ultrasound during neurotoxin injections, and with decreasing or preventing readmissions from inpatient rehabilitation to acute care.
