Saurabh Sanon, MD

Dr. Sanon is a structural interventional cardiologist and is certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Sanon received his medical degree from the Government Medical College (GMC Nagpur), India, and completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Following his residency, Dr. Sanon completed Interventional Cardiology fellowships at the University of Texas Health Center at San Antonio and the Mayo Clinic.

His clinical interests include transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), left atrial appendage occlusion (WATCHMAN™), transcatheter mitral valve repair (Mitraclip™), transcatheter tricuspid valve repair (tricuspid clip), transcatheter mitral valve implantation (TMVI), paravalvular leak closure, atrial septal defect (ASD), patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure, and alcohol septal ablation. Dr. Sanon has contributed to more than 25 publications and has served as principal investigator on multiple structural heart research trials.
