Professor of Surgery
Neil H. Hyman, MD, is an expert in colon and rectal surgery. He specializes in the surgical treatment of gastrointestinal malignancies and inflammatory bowel disease.
Dr. Hyman has made significant contributions to medical literature and education. He has authored more than 175 peer-reviewed original articles or textbook chapters and serves as a reviewer for numerous scientific publications. In addition, he has been invited to present his work at conferences on colorectal surgery and bowel disorders or diseases. He currently serves as a Senior Examiner for the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery and as an Associate Examiner for the American Board of Surgery.
Dr. Hyman is consistently named to the list of Best Doctors in America by Best Doctors, Inc. and America's Top Doctors for Cancer by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd.
