Vani Konda, MD
Gastroenterologist Vani Konda, MD, specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of Barrett's esophagus, gastroesophageal reflux disorders, and other esophageal conditions. She is also interested in colorectal cancer prevention, detection, and treatment.
In collaboration with her colleagues in the Center for Endoscopic Research and Therapeutics, Dr. Konda is actively involved in researching and developing new applications of endoscopic imaging and therapy. For example, she has several grants to study endoscopic microscopy techniques for assessing colorectal tumor development and tumor response to treatment. This research has high potential for improvements in colorectal cancer treatment.
