New Therapies for Lung Cancer

[CME] In this online course, David Carbone, MD, PhD, medical oncologist at the OSUCCC – James, describes the magnitude of the lung cancer problem and the rapid pace of progress in the management of this disease. He explains the basic principles of the initial lung cancer workup and management decisions. Dr. Carbone also discusses how to classify non-small cell lung cancer and describes common side effects of driver-targeted therapies. In addition, he outlines what primary care physicians need to know about co-managing patients who are being treated with driver-targeted therapy.
