In this presentation, Adam Slivka, MD, PhD, Asif Khalid, MD, Randall Brand, MD, Aatur Singhi, MD, PhD, and Amer H Zureikat, MD, discuss diagnosis, screening, and palliative care for patients with pancreatic cancer.

Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify indications for biliary stenting in pancreatic head cancer and differentiate between advantages of metal versus plastic stenting
  • Describe the recent advances in molecular testing of pancreatic cysts
  • Identify patients that benefit from targeted surveillance of pancreatic cancer
  • Describe methods of performing PDAC surveillance and their outcomes
