At the Penn Brain Tumor Center, neuro-oncology nurse navigator, Eleanor Miller, RN, MSN, OCN, CBCN, facilitates access, care management and follow up for brain tumor patients and their families.

With specialized training and knowledge of cancer diagnoses, treatments and health system operations, Eleanor and her peers act as the primary contact during the course of care.

Penn Neuro-Onc Nurse Navigators coordinate appointments with the clinical team, social workers, nutritionists, insurance personnel and other professionals. And perhaps most importantly, they offer a personal source of comfort and support to patients and their families.
