Implications on the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular patients in the COVID-19 pandemic

Participants will hear brief presentations and discussion from our faculty regarding the current and extraordinary environment that many healthcare providers and related fields find themselves in while effectively treating their patients.

Dr. Ehrin Armstrong from Rocky Mountain Regional VA Hospital in Denver, CO will discuss some of the latest clinical data surrounding COVID-19 that relates to the cardiovascular population.

Dr. Ken Rosenfield from Mass General Hospital in Boston, MA and a past president of SCAI will discuss the ACS-like presentation of patients seen now and some of the screening strategies to best diagnose and treat these patients

Dr. Jon George from Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia will discuss emerging changes to patient care in hospitals, cath labs and cardiology practices in general.
