A study published in the American Journal of Perinatology found pandemic-related stress may adversely affect perinatal outcomes. People who delivered during the COVID-19 pandemic were more likely to experience hypersensitive disorders of pregnancy, medically indicated preterm birth, and PPH even in the absence of SARS-CoV2 infection.
