Ethical and Effective Management of Psychiatric Crises in Pregnancy

Dr. Clif Moore, PhD presents on “Ethical and Effective Management of Psychiatric Crises in Pregnancy” to help obstetric clinicians recognize risk factors in psychiatric decompensation, utilize resources for psychiatric care in pregnancy, and identify medications that are considered compatible with pregnancy.  He differentiates  between psychological and psychiatric etiologies and discusses the risks associated with treatment for these patients. A case presentation also occurs in which nonmaleficence, beneficience, and justice are at odds.

St. David’s Healthcare CME program recognized the significance of ongoing clinical changes in medicine and how often new techniques and outcomes are introduced. We are proud to offer the library of courses available to you, however, cannot guarantee that all courses are presented with the most current information. The course shown above is no longer available for CME credit.
