Living Donor Liver Transplantation

The University of Maryland Living Donor Liver Program is #2 in the nation for patient and graft survival after transplant.  In this video, Dr. John LaMattina, assistant professor of surgery at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and director of the living donor liver transplant program, discusses the University of Maryland Transplant Center’s expertise in treating some of the most complex cases that are often turned away by other centers, and the benefit of living donor liver transplant for patients on the transplant waiting list.
