Case Details: Patient MV is 65 years old, recently diagnosed with prostate cancer, GS4+3. PSA history is between 8 and 11 in the last three years. 5/6 cores positive on the left with GS 3+3 small volume disease; 3/9 cores positive on the right midlateral GS 4+3 cancer, plus a positive biopsy for GS4+3 cancer in a MRI targeted lesion in the R midgland and base. Prostate volume is 66gm on MRI. AUASS is 0 and SHIM is 25; patient is quite concerned about loss of sexual function due to surgery.

Dr. Ahlering will be performing a bilateral nerve-sparing robot-assisted radical prostatectomy with possible right or left side inguinal hernia repair with mesh. There will be no pelvic lymph node dissection.
