Julia White, MD, head of breast radiation oncology at Ohio State, discusses the results of a randomized, phase III national study on the long-term survival rates and risks for recurrence of partial breast irradiation versus whole breast radiation in women with low-risk, early-stage breast cancer. Dr. White was the co-principal investigator of the study.
