Gastric Per Oral Endoscopic Myotomy (G-POEM) for Gastroparesis Due to Post-Operative Vagus Nerve Injury

Stavros Stavropoulos, MD, performs a gastric per oral endoscopic myotomy (G-POEM) for gastroparesis due to post-operative vagus nerve injury. The patient is a 54. year old woman with GERD unresponsive to medical therapy. Due to pprior surgical pyloroplasty, patient underwnet trial of thanspyloric stenting to assess if further treatment wat pylorus would alleviate symptoms.
