Pediatric Auditory Brainstem Implant

The auditory brainstem implant (ABI) is a neurostimulator used to enable auditory perception and sensations for individuals who are deaf due to absent or damaged cochleas or cochlear nerves, who are not candidates for a cochlear implant (CI).
