Dr Debbs discusses a wide range of the concerns affecting the obstetric population in PCP practice--including obesity, congenital heart disease, recurrent pregnancy loss, hypothyroidism and depression--and urges PCPs to engage in preconceptual intervention and counseling for patients at potential risk who are considering pregnancy. Dr. Debbs is the Director of the Pennsylvania Hospital Maternal Fetal Medicine Network.
